Julian Martin has been selected as a finalist in the Dobell Drawing Prize. Since 2019, the National Art School has partnered with the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation to produce the Dobell Drawing Prize, a new iteration of the Dobell Prize which ran between 1993 and 2012. The biennial prize is the leading drawing exhibition in Australia and celebrates technical skill innovation and expanded definitions of drawing. The $30,000 acquisitive prize will be awarded at the opening of the finalists’ exhibition at NAS Gallery on 25 March 2021. The exhibition then runs until 22 May 2021.
